Birth is the time when a baby is born. Everyone starts off here. We enter the world looking genetically cute to humans in general so that the ones who created us will feel good about looking after us and not just abandon us after our birth. As time goes by, we mature and gain the ability to reproduce, giving birth to more humans to ensure the survival of species. More time goes by and we age. Soon to die of disease or old age. Through out our live we face many hard ships as well as the joys of living. Our instinct usually tells us to fight for our survival until the time when our bodies give up on our wills. When we return to the very ground that we consume the nutrients off then it is what we call death

Birth and death are natural processes that plague everyone. As said in the book of Zen, 'Old age and death are the most impartial law of all, even Emperor and nobles can't escape from '. Death wil bef aced by all of us; as the quote suggested. Therefore, the question to ask is how to face it. I have a friend who died in a road accident. His face was disfigured badly. Just 16, he left our world leaving hsi dreams and family behind. I really wonder that in 50 years time, how he will be like if he wasn't dead. I must face death one day too, how should i face it? How should I face the death of my relatives? I shall find my answer one day I hope.

Birth has many definitions. To me, birth is the emergence pr beginning of a new life. Birth doesn't necessarily need to occur when a baby is born from a woman. Birth also occurs when someone turn over a new leaf and decide to start life anew and afresh. Births often have the association with being 'pure'. When we were born in this world as a child, we were innocent and have no idea of how the world is really like. We have no experience of life before. We are considered as pure in the sense that our soul and mind have not been stained by experiences in life. However, for every beginning, there is an ending.

Death is the ultimate end of life. The moment our heart stops beating and we stopped breathing, we have experienced death. Many feared death. However, everyone have to face it. There is no way to avoid death. The moment we experienced death, our life journey becomes memories. We cease to exist from the moment we died.

There are many ways in which one experiences death. By committing suicide, being murdered, accident, old age, illness and etc. Death is indeed inevitable. Some were forced to face death whereas some willingly submit themselves to death. Regardless of anything, death is a process everyone has to go through.

I think that the subject of birth and death is a undisputable scientific outcome. All religious fundamentalist can go and consume their own waste products. Being born is when you burst out from your mom's you know... and dying is when your heart stops beating, for good. What happens after death, no one will ever know. Thus, concludes this week's entry. I'm spent.

SUMMARY:
Overall, our group feels that death is the conclusion of life and birth is the emergence of a new life. Reproduction is the process whereby new birth occurs and the purpose of it is to ensure the continuation of the generation and survival of the generation. Death is unavoidable as life has to conclude. Death may come in many different forms such as - suicide, murder or even accidents. The destination after death is unknown - dependant on the religious belief of every individual. The question which remains is - how to face death? What are the effects of death upon the society? Birth also doesn't necessarily means a physical birth or emergence of a new born baby. Birth can also means being reborn spiritually for example, turning over a new leaf or making a resolution to change a person's way of life. Therefore, birth and death is yet another puzzle of the universe which remain unsolve. What is the purpose of death ? And why do many fear it? Its answer remains unclear.

Mdm Teo needs a response.

The topic is "This house believes that divorce is a social illness"(sure sounds like a familiar way of phrasing a question)

I really dunno wat i am doing but here goes...

A family, as defined by Answers.com, is a fundamental social group in society typically consisting of one or two parents and their children.  So what really means about having a family? Having a family means cultivating a sense of responsibilty as you need to take care of stuff at home, at school and at work. it is a binding contract from that day that u get married till the day u die. Even if u get divorced, u will still be part of a family as u might visit ur children once a week. this means fulfilling the binding contract of a family. In order to have a great family that meets what a child in the family needs, one has to nurture, to bond, to have mutual respect and love with each other and the most important thing is to CARE. Having a family means learning to care for one another for some people. Some people have not cared for anyone in their entire life. Only after they settle down, get married, have children after a night of intimacy, then they learn the hard aspects of having a family. they learn that having a child in the family affects everyone, whether its an extended family or what. Whatever affects the child affects u. For example u have to take care of ur child when he/she is sick, even though it means staying up the entire night, u need to still carry the responsibility with ur spouse or husband. when he is ready to go to school, u need to send  him there. every child means a lot for their parents, seeing
them grow up affects their parents mood.

Ya thats about all i can think of... i think thats the longest entry ever posted! Smile on =)

As a family i think its important we stay united and bonded together. we have to have mutual trust and understanding towards each other to have a warmth family. Its because of the lack of trust and time the parents give to children that they become rebellious. Family is there for us when we need them and is not some fair weathered friends that we have that avoid you when your in trouble, thus it is necessary to communicate and foster well with your family. Be ready to set aside some time time to spend with your family, to bond and keep each other updated about yourselves. Family will really come to your help in times of crisis, when u really need them. Thus i urge all people to spend more time with their family members and not take things for granted.

The English word family comes from the Latin familia meaning "household." It is akin to the Sanskrit dhaman which means "dwelling place." So a family therefore , is a place to live, a place to dream, a place to share , A place to grow ...

A family is a place where family members form ties and connect with one another. The debatable question here is, " Is having a family a pro or con ? ". This is often the issue which attracts many different opinions and arguments. Is the idea of having a family a good one in the first place ?

Being a person of traditional beliefs, i of course believe that the pros outweigh the cons. Many feel that having a family actually ties you down by the heavy resposibilities that one have to shoulder. But personally, i feel that the responsibilities are nothing too heavy to shoulder if u truly love and care for your family.

Having a family means warmth, cloesness and togetherness bonded by a special relationship. Family members become a psychological support in times of hardships and obstacles and are a motivation to carry on with life. The special bond and love between family members can never be substituted with bonds formed by friends.
